Glad she had a weapon just in case.
it’s sad we gotta worry about carrying weapons just to exist but PLEASE CARRY WEAPONS LADIES!!! DEFEND YOUR SAFETY + PRIVACY!!!
This is so common, I’ve got a dozen stories but I’ll start with these 2.
My fiance bought me a knife with a clip because I was driving early am and late and night back and forth for college. I kept that bitch clipped to the center of my bra so if I needed it I didn’t have to dig through my purse. And it came in handy, about a month later I was leaving a dance class and this guy approached me trying to get my number. I told him I was taken and I wasn’t interested. He didn’t take no for an answer and grabbed my hand, so I pulled the knife about half way out of my bra and as soon as he saw of he backed off. I made it very clear I would cut his balls off if he ever laid a hand on me again. Thankfully our dance teacher saw everything and got him put on academic probation with supervision.

If you feel like you’re being followed, make a scene, call someone, and get someplace safe.
In 2016 I was driving alone across state lines to take care of family, it was about an hour one way and I made the trip 3 times a week. I was used to this route and always traveled at like 3 am because of my schedule. NOBODY is on the road at that time, until about two weeks into this schedule a red pickup starts driving right on my ass for no lie like 30 minutes.
At first I thought he was just drunk because he kept swerving out of the lane and back in. But then I realize he’s yelling and having his hands and trying to get me to pull over. In the middle of nowhere 3 am. NOPE. FUCK THAT.
It’s a straight drive and he could obviously pass if he wanted. Whatever he wants I don’t. So I put on my hazard lights, called 911 and drove straight to the local pd. Bet your ass the second I pulled up to that police station his ass was gone. I reported it to the 911 operator then again to the cop when I pulled up and gave a full description.
I don’t know if they ever found him, but I do know I got home safe and that’s enough for me.
